Girl Again

 I rarely dress up since the summer weather is too humid right now but it was my BIRTHDAY yesterday and I could not pass up on putting on an outfit and taking a picture of it to post in my blog HAHA. Well anyways, here you go:

I wore this whole ensemble with a Mulberry Alexa bag in Watermelon, I wasn't able to take a picture with it though, but you get the picture, the hot pink lips and the bag adds color to the nude pink outfit. Ahhh, how I missed blogging, putting an outfit together and adding inches to my height. Gaah! Feels good to be a girl again.

back on track

I'm not really sure if I'm back to regular blogging again but hopefully I'd find time to take pictures and post it here to share since I barely have anything to do now that I'm done with school and board exams.

I seriously have nothing against local brands like penshoppe, bench, oxygen and the like but I could never really get my self to spend on their merchandise until this one time while reading Metro magazine that I saw stuffs from Oxygen being featured, I hurriedly went to their store and found something I like, my first ever purchase from that store was this slouchy top and I'm completely inlove with it.


And yes!! my Michael Kors clogs, they're heavy but awesome and pretty easy to walk in though it makes a lot of noise since the heels are pretty much solid wood.

I have long been gone from the blog world, though I try my best to do blog walking from time to time, at one point in my life, i thought i'd give up this blog but more often I think that it was a big part of my person that I just can't let go, although right now I am more focused on reviewing for the board exams for nursing which will be on December. Don't get me wrong, I do love dressing up and all sorts, I still can't sleep thinking of that perfect pair of shoes or dress, or accessory. I still religiously read fashion magazines and style books but I think I just have to cut back on some things and know my priorities.
I recently got back from a 3 month trip to the US and oh boy, the shopping experience was beyond awesome, it's always different when you're independent, you know what you want and you're mom's bank account backs you up..

I'd try to recall my 2010 wish list....

These Chanel spring 2010 sticker/rub-on tattoos are just plain amazing.
There's no freakin chance i'd get the real thing. So perhaps. Get someone from my area to DO IT for me. Hey summer is nearing and I'm almost out of school. Might give it a try..
I like the first picture best btw. It looks like chain stripper stockings minus the nylon. and yup the bracelets are fine too!

Major exams are finally over. We have a school trip this coming Thursday to Manila, I don't really expect to go extreme shopping but hopefully I get my hands on something... perhaps, new shoes?

Here's something before I hit the sack.

I have this great fascination with laces and I recently acquired this top, the back part is sheer and I am diggin' the lace pattern. Can't wait to wear it out. =)

Finding the perfect blazer has been my long dream, the one with the right color, not too thick and heavy, and yeah I finally found it plus it has little silk flower details on the left pocket!! <3>or even just the cold breeze!!

The sunglasses are vintage, my guy friend gave to me, i think it's even older than me! It belonged to his grandmother.

It has been almost 6 weeks since I posted my 2010 wish list... And some of them are now granted (although they are not really the exact same thing as shown in the list) with unexpected surprises in between..

I originally wanted a Monogram, but my mom wanted a Damier, I gave in.. I was like, whatever works, Damier it is, BUT eventually she got me Monogram. I am more in love with the Monogram design, they look more appealing to me. idk. =p

My mother was very kind to buy me a Chanel bag. It was a very strange and a BEAUTIFUL surprise on a Saturday morning.

This is an very old vintage Chanel bag from my mother and It's mine now! <3>
I have been trying my best to get my hands on the Louis Vuitton Ballerina's but unfortunately they are not in stores yet, or will they ever be. I'm trying to find a replacement with my old ones and I need them now!!

On a different note...

I recently have been purchasing a lot of fun accessories. They make me happy, they give life to a boring outfit and they're funky. =))

I am obsessed with rings, although it's very hard for me to find really nice and unique one's since the choices in Iloilo are very limited, I still manage to grab something which I like though...

I love this owl necklace from Gorgeous (a local accessory shop), it looks exactly with what Forever21 has, only cheaper ($3). This purple ring is from my boyfriend's sister. She has the exact same ring in white, I complimented them and she got me a purple one the next day. It's a cute flower cocktail ring.

hey you!!

Heeey everyone!! I am soo sorry for the very much delay on posts!! School started yesterday and it feels like hell, I have yet too much to handle. First and foremost my thesis which is due on Thursday and I haven't finished doing it yet. Yknow, i have to set my priorities first. I am now waiting for the data results for me to do the last chapters, and my stress buster is ofcourse, posting in my blog and reading all of yours. =)

2010 wishlist

2010 is just around the corner and I find my self wishing to acquire some of these things. =) well actually this shape collage application online made me gather pictures of the things I'm dreading about. So here I'd like to share it with you...

If I ever surpass my thesis defense, most probably I will get:
1. Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens

If ever it comes in stock:
2. the Louis Vuitton Lovely ballerina shoe from Spring/summer 2010

If ever I graduate in March:
3. the Cartier Roadster, or any of the Cartier watches I might like.

If ever Mom spared some cash:
4&5. Damier Ebony Keepall 50, and Monogram Insolite wallet

If ever I get lucky:
6&7. The Balenciaga city classic or the LV epi noe.

If ever I was the luckiest girl in the world:
8. I get to see the YSL Imperiale pumps waiting for me in Guam or US this summer if ever I get to have a vacation (hoping they're on SALE)

So if ever I was these things, I'd be able to get my hands on the things I'm wishing =)

Been really busy this week. Well at least I think so, but yeah I have research to finish which I really haven't started yet. I have all these plans in mind but I just can't seem to find the drive to start. Then, I have this very unexpected trip to Macau on Friday, it really just came out of the blue. Prelim exams will be next week too and I just don't know what to do first. I will probably be back as soon as I get my research starting... pray for me please. =P

Leaving you off with this picture. I am in love with the gold hardware. It is just right fierce for me. I believe the headband is from Givenchy, $500. No friggin' way. But it's love. =) I don't think I could pull this off without looking like a "demon" like EUGENIE NIARCHOS. I'd probably never get tired of this trend.

it always amazes me that I get to have remarkably cheap yet stylish shoes from SM Dept. Store. I got these wedges as a back up in lieu of the forever 21 wedges. They're equally comfortable and stylish. =)


I have been relying on this necklace since I got them. They almost always make any boring and plain out fit chic. I was hesitant to get them at first, but I always new I had to have it. =p

Rad and random

I have been lazy to dress up lately (thus, the lack of updates). I have been wearing short/ capri pants with a tee repeatedly. Last Saturday was an exception of course, I was dragged into a very instant night out with my friends. I didn't have anything club worthy to wear. The local club even had a Halloween party. What the heck. And again, I wore my forever 21 wedges, I opted for comfort. I gotta find a new staple shoe before it breaks. HAHA

DIY: Studded Belt

I wanted a cinch, I found everything that was being sold over rated and so I decided to make one my self. Here's what I used:
1. Black thread and a needle
2. Gold round/ dome shaped buttons
3. Elastic cinch/ waist belt

THE END PRODUCT

I am not quite satisfied with this yet, I still have to make some revisions and fixing the flaws, you know getting things straight but I quite dig them. =)

isn't it lovely

Isn't it lovely? Saw them online before, they were always sold out, but finally got hold of them TODAY. Got them from a local accessory shop, Gorgeous. And yeah, they're really gorgeous and not to mention they're cheaper than they are posted online. I'm very happy.

It was kinda' gloomy today so i decided to wear my black blazer again. We went out to eat lunch and do groceries.

The debut of my cheap shoes, okay they were fine for at least 3hours. Over all critic. I'd use them again and again. And I'm giving my LV Vernis Wilshire a break, for like a month already and been using my Neverfull for some time now.
