Functionality.

I am currently an out of school youth, unemployed and jumping around cities exploring. In simple terms, I am pretty much a bum. My friends always encourage me to blog again, so maybe this time, I'd give it a shot. Again.
Here's a quick outfit and foodie post!

Although my Jeffrey Campbell shoes seem loud and attention grabbing, they still could pass for casual, everyday shoes since they are so comfortable, wore them from lunch time til midnight. 12 hours to be exact and I survived. It was just like walking in flats. I am PRO comfortable shoes now, no matter how great it looks if i can't walk in them, I ditch them. Ahhh this made me want more JC shoes! I am in love. On another note, my Givenchy Nightingale bag is my company whenever I travel, I used to find it high maintenance coz of the delicate lambskin leather, it has stood with me despite the heavy load and it is very easy to carry with the shoulder strap with it.
These 2 are just my favorite things right now, just thought I'd share.

We had breakfast at the famous Robot Resto and Lounge. It was early in the morning so no one was really there, we just wanted to experience the place and give it a try. The breakfast menu only had few selections and was priced decently. The interior of the restaurant was very futuristic and nice although it is no longer maintained, the service was extremely slow and our food was served after an hour (no joke). The food was good though, it was light but hearty and the presentation was lovely.

We have been wanting to try YABU House of Katsu at SM Megamall Atrium ever since, people have been raving about it. Alas, I know what the hype is all about now. I ordered Hire Katsu, it is a lean pork with the fat trimmed off, with sides of unlimited cabbage and Miso soup. I tell you, my katsu was so soft, it melts in the mouth, my friend ordered the same thing, and didn't even know she had pork if i did not tell her, all the while she thought she was having chicken, yes it was that lean and soft!!! I would definitely come back for more! I enjoyed my whole katsu experience.

Just another lazy day

I seriously thought I have gotten past my thesis editing, but no, we meet again, I am typing this post as I am printing my thesis, the heat is scorching and yet I have to go back to school. That's life, I must move on. Anyhow, here is another outfit post taken one lazy sunday afternoon. Oh how I love to be lazy, my day would just be going to the mall, have coffee and watch a movie with friends.

Color Blocking Attempt

Been updating almost every day! Gaah, I miss this. Anyhow, the color blocking trend is everywhere and I'm jumping in the bandwagon. This is my lame version. Wore this out on a casual dinner party with gym-mates.

On another note here's my "woven like" Lucky Brand Flatforms, they are comfortable and stylish to boot. And they seem sturdy and very well made, definitely worth it. I love them.

Casual Weekends

Out on a date night with friends. I was actually trying to do color blocking though the picture doesn't really show. Wore a coral top and elecrtic blue bandage sandals both from H & M. Paired it with Louis Vuitton bag for a classic touch.

 

Girl Again

 I rarely dress up since the summer weather is too humid right now but it was my BIRTHDAY yesterday and I could not pass up on putting on an outfit and taking a picture of it to post in my blog HAHA. Well anyways, here you go:

I wore this whole ensemble with a Mulberry Alexa bag in Watermelon, I wasn't able to take a picture with it though, but you get the picture, the hot pink lips and the bag adds color to the nude pink outfit. Ahhh, how I missed blogging, putting an outfit together and adding inches to my height. Gaah! Feels good to be a girl again.

back on track

I'm not really sure if I'm back to regular blogging again but hopefully I'd find time to take pictures and post it here to share since I barely have anything to do now that I'm done with school and board exams.

I seriously have nothing against local brands like penshoppe, bench, oxygen and the like but I could never really get my self to spend on their merchandise until this one time while reading Metro magazine that I saw stuffs from Oxygen being featured, I hurriedly went to their store and found something I like, my first ever purchase from that store was this slouchy top and I'm completely inlove with it.


And yes!! my Michael Kors clogs, they're heavy but awesome and pretty easy to walk in though it makes a lot of noise since the heels are pretty much solid wood.

Got this wooden clogs from Steve Madden a few months back, and i have been using them every chance I get!! and well, for these reasons, they're light and super comfortable to walk in, they go with almost anything i wear, and they're just one of the few shoes i brought home. Boohoo still waiting for 10 of my shoes to arrive. Or will they ever reach Philippines, maybe I'd see them the next time I go back to the States? HAHA!! grrr. >,<

flower power

I have been gone pretty long! Well, anyways, i have been going around san francisco, and not buying anything!! more like browsing first. i'd be here for 3 months and i pretty much would want to save for something really big!!

here are some pictures taken: i didn't really pack much (traveling light) so my outfits look pretty much the same. Last Saturday, we went around union square and yesterday, we visited Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto and I must say, i love the outdoor shopping, the weather was perfect! <3

sheer madness

Sorry for the hiatus. School is finally out and I have been dealing with my everyday life left and right. Finishing up things before I leave for the US. I will get back to regular posting as soon as I get everything sorted out.

For now, I leave you with this not really old pictures, they were taken maybe 2 weeks ago when our batch had a "farewell" party few days before graduation. It was basically a pool party with a dj, lots of booze and drunk undergrads, singing, dancing and having fun like crazy.

(the pictures are not decent. at all!! my friend is not really oriented in taking pictures with the DSLR camera. so yeah, they came out dark and blurry)

EEEK! NOT!! This is totally not my life right now. It is more of dull, complicated and chaotic. First, there are tons of school work for me to finish, there are still so many things to do but I barely have time left. 26 more days to go before graduation, this week is the last week of school stuff, next week are final exams, finalizing of thesis and graduation pracitces.
I'd be pretty busy this week giving my last blow. Need need to study!!
So this is my last post for the week and I'll recover after exams which is on MONDAY!! So hurray!!

RUN and make it WERQ

Weirdest title ever!! I am running out of ideas!! I keep running out of anything... must must make my brain cells RUN!!

Got the day off today and thought I'd try on my clothes since I never get to wear them.. Ahh! I can't wait for summer... I'd get to wear shorts and skirts!! We have saturdays and sundays as our non school uniform days but we don't get to wear shorts and skirts since we follow a very strict dress code. We basically wear shirts and jeans to school. =) yeah that bland. =p I must admit! I feel very unstylish most of the time. I run out of outfit ideas and almost always feel I have nothing to wear. Oh, here we go again!!

this floral shirt my mom got me looks vintage, more like granny florals. Paired it with shorts since the heat is unbearable, plus sky high platforms to make me look taller. =P


I saw this shirt from Topshop and grabbed it right away without even trying it on. It appears too big but I guess I could do more with it. I am again in love with the print, so I am trying my best to pull it off. And, yeah, I was never really a fan of stockings with open toe shoes, but I got these stay up black stockings and they matched my Forever 21 wedges well. It may a late response to this trend but I am diggin' it actually. =)

Summer is fast approaching... I smell floral prints,khaki, nude, whites, shorts, and cropped shirts. Oh no! I pray for cold weather, rain!! please come.
Note to self: must get the perfect white button down. I don't know why, it feels like a necessity.

latest love

Major exams are finally over. We have a school trip this coming Thursday to Manila, I don't really expect to go extreme shopping but hopefully I get my hands on something... perhaps, new shoes?

Here's something before I hit the sack.

I have this great fascination with laces and I recently acquired this top, the back part is sheer and I am diggin' the lace pattern. Can't wait to wear it out. =)

Finding the perfect blazer has been my long dream, the one with the right color, not too thick and heavy, and yeah I finally found it plus it has little silk flower details on the left pocket!! <3>or even just the cold breeze!!
